On the contrary, I think it will be amazing playing it. There is no game on the XBox or PS3 that can compare to it, just as there are many games on PS3 or XB that are not available on other platforms and are just amazing to play. I have not played it yet so I cannot tell you how it compares to the old N64 version (and it has been a long time since I played that one): But i am sure they will demo it a lot in the next couple of month, so I can tell you then.
